Many people spend the majority of their working day in a corporate environment. It needs to be a place that is comfortable to work in, has good ventilation, good airflow, and adequate natural light. Noise, poor ventilation, and inadequate lighting can lead to unhealthy work environments and low productivity.
In multi-storey buildings, a solution to these issues is to install a Flush Glazing or Curtain Wall System and select glazing options (including double-glazing and tints) that will provide energy efficiency, reduce noise and add to the comfort of the internal environment.
Internal glazing options with the Universal System and Flush Glaze System allow for reduced external scaffolding and easier installation during construction, re-glazing, and maintenance. Many buildings require solutions for earthquake or seismic movement. This requirement will be job-specific. However the Universal and the Flush Glaze Systems allow for movement of +/- 15mm.

As with all buildings, residential or commercial, weathering is always important. Fletcher Aluminium’s systems have been designed with drainage holes to allow water to freely drain to the exterior. Fletcher Aluminium’s exterior sliding door systems and pressure equalization also play a key role in the weathering of any project.
Security will also be an issue. This is improved with the use of restrictor stays, three point locking systems, pressure fitted beads, internal glazing, and an anti-lifting device at the head of the Universal (39mm) Suite and the Shop Front Suite.
Automatic, revolving, pivot, and sliding doors are all options that can be incorporated into the solutions for solving traffic-flow concerns. Shading and awning cover can incorporate fixed or adjustable louvres or tinted glass in a Sky Wall System.
