Solutions
The biggest requirement of any learning or educational environment is the comfort and safety of the students who attend. Many spend a large percentage of the day inside and often in intense environments. Therefore, stress-free comfort and wellbeing are important.

Having a continuous airflow or access to fresh air is important, not only for a healthy body, but also a healthy mind. Incorporating hoppers in the Universal Suite, sliding windows or Aneeta™ Sashless Vertical Sliding Windows (in a controlled environment) will meet ventilation requirements.
Specific criteria will need to be met when designing areas that include such ventilation requirements and this will apply to the use of gases, solvents, paints, and other materials that create odour or emissions. Toughened glass should be used to meet safety requirements and vision rails, door holdbacks, and tinted glass to increase energy efficiency and comfort. The right glass selection will also assist with the energy efficiency of these buildings.

The Flush Glaze System enables easy access to courtyard areas and can help manage people flow. This system will allow a large amount of natural light into the buildings, however, fixed or adjustable louvres can be added for shade and shelter.
Because education buildings are heavily populated, using an anodised finish on the Fletcher Aluminium System will increase the durability and improve the look of the products especially as solvents are often used to remove unwanted items that are attached to
the surfaces.
Some areas may require specialist hardware for restricted access key pads, adjustable handles/locking heights, and automatic doors to help meet safety requirements.

There will always be a number of rooms that require specific acoustic levels to be met such as, music auditoriums. These requirements can be met through the correct selection of glazing types and thicknesses.
